Introduction to the dynamics of linear operators
As the title indicates, I plan to give 3 introductory lectures on the dynamics of linear operators. In the first lecture, I should give some basic facts concerning hypercyclic operators, i.e. linear operators having a dense orbit. The second lecture should be mainly devoted to the construction of a hypercyclic operator which does not satisfy the so-called Hypercyclicity Criterion. Finally, in the third lecture I should try to explain the connections between unimodular eigenvalues and the existence of an invariant ergodic measure.Presentation
