How to reach the faculty building from the airport

See http://www.pragueairport.co.uk/ and this map to get detailed information on transport from the airport to the center. We present below basic possibilities.

By public transport: Public transport consists of buses, metro and trams. Basic transfer ticket costs CZK 32 and is valid for 90 minutes from validation. For more information on tickets see http://www.dpp.cz/en/fares-in-prague/.

Take bus number 100 (this one begins at the airport) and go to its end stop Zličín. Change to the metro (line B, Zličín is the end station) and get out at Křižíkova.

Another possibility: Take bus number 119 (it begins at the airport) and go to its end stop Nádraží Veleslavín. Change to the metro (line A). At Můstek change to line B, take the metro in direction Černý Most and get out at Křižíkova.

Using a shuttle bus: There is a shuttle service, see http://www.prague-airport-shuttle.cz/.

Using a taxi: The price of a taxi trip from the airport to the faculty building should be approximately CZK 600.

 

Special bus

A special bus from Prague to Svratka and back is a part of the conference service.

The special bus from Prague leaves on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 16:00. The place of the departure will be in front of the building of the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Sokolovská street 83 (metro station Křižíkova - line "B"). The meeting point will be inside the faculty building - follow the signs. On January 14, the building of the faculty will be open since 11:00, so the participants will be able to leave their luggage at the faculty during the day.

The arrival to Prague is expected on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at about 14:00. The participants can get out either at the Main Railway Station or at the Faculty building. There is a direct public bus from the Main Railway Station to the airport (AE Bus - Airport Express) each half an hour, the trip should take 45 minutes.
