GETTING THERE

The conference venue, the Malá Strana campus, is located at Malostranské náměstí 2, 118 00 Praha 1 (google maps), in close proximity of Charles bridge and at the foot of Prague castle. It is easy to reach by public transport - the closest tram stop, located in front of the building is called "Malostranské náměstí" and served by lines 12, 15, 20, and 22. In walking distance (approximately 10 minutes) there is also the metro station "Malostranská", which is served by line A. Tickets for public transport are sold in vending machines at all metro stations, at newsstands and (cashless) in all trams and buses. For more information on tickets and fares see here. Prague is well-connected to many cities worldwide via train, plane and bus connections. The main train station (Praha hlavní nádraží) and main bus hub (Florenc Bus terminal) are located centrally and well connected to the public transport network. If you arrive at Václav Havel Airport Prague (PRG), the center can be also be easily reached using the public transportation network (to travel to the conference venue, buy a standard fare ticket, take bus 119 to "Nádraží Veleslavín", and then metro A to station "Malostranská").

ACCOMODATION

There will be no pre-reserved contingents of hotel rooms. The participants are asked to find a place of their own liking via platforms such as booking.com.

VISA ISSUES

Note that citizens of some countries need visa to enter Czech Republic. To learn more in this respect, please visit the website of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and double-check with your local Czech consulate. We may send an invitation letter upon request to participants provably working in algebra or a related field. If you need one, let us now well in advance by e-mail (not just in the registration form), as processing registrations might take an unpredictable amount of time. Czech Republic is a part of the Schengen group, hence, any Schengen visa shall allow you to enter Czech Republic (again, double-check with your consulate).
