Hello, I am

Jana Brunátová

PhD student | Charles University in Prague & University of Groningen

Who am I ?

I am a double-degree PhD student of Mathematical Modeling at Charles University in Prague and at the University of Groningen. My research is focused on blood flow modeling in brain aneurysms.

Keywords: computational fluid dynamics; cardiovascular hemodynamics; medical imaging (PC-MRI).

Currently, I am in the fourth year of my PhD studies.
We use open-source libraries FEniCS and PETSc in Python to perform the numerical simulations and VMTK or GMSH software for mesh preparations.

Extracurricular activities

An active member of the SIAM Student Chapter Prague

Our Chapter regularly organize seminars and guest lectures mainly for PhD students as well as some introductory courses (LaTeX, FEniCS) for younger students.

A member of the AlumNode network

AlumNode is a global alumni network with an interdisciplinary community made of researchers, experts and science communicators.

An enthusiast of making figures in LaTeX using PGFPlots.

You can check out this repository! I will add more documents soon!

An organisor of the Student Workshop on Applied Mathematics (November 2022)

The workshop was funded by 4EU+ Alliance.
