Comments:The very nature of mathematics implies that some areas are subsequent to other areas. So, for good understanding of certain areas knowledge of preceeding areas is necessary. Therefore, the order in which students study the individual courses does matter. This is reflected by the above table of key connections of the courses in mathematical analysis.

We point out that the master program Mathematical Analysis is designed as a continuation of the bachelor program General Mathematics. Therefore the students should fulfil the entry requirements and in case of necessity learn the missing topics. The above table shows which areas are required for which courses. Details should be discussed with the responsible teacher.
