o How to reach the meeting point

To get to the Faculty building from the airport you can take e.g. bus No. 100 from the airport to the metro terminal ZLICIN, (line B - the yellow line), and go directly to the station KRIZIKOVA, lying on line B. This trip will last about 10 min (bus) + 30 min (metro).

All main railway stations are directly connected to the metro net, and you should reach the meeting point within 30 minutes from any of them. We recommend to consult city maps and other information available on metro stations. o The conference place

Wearing of slippers (or any other home shoes) inside the hotel is recommended.

We also recommend to consider an appropriate clothing and shoes for walks and hikes in the almost-mountain terrain (elev. 800 - 1300 m). In the middle of May, the outside temperatures should be within the range of +15 to +20 Celsius with rare but possible exceptions in both directions. Be prepared for rains and/or occasional storms, even if this spring is exeptionally dry.

The hotel The accommodation consists of rooms for 2 or 3 people. All rooms are equipped with a bathroom, TV set and a radio receiver with alarm clock.

There is an electronically guarded parking place nearby the hotel.

Full board (breakfast, lunch, dinner, coffee during coffee breaks) is a part of the conference fee, except drinks. You can buy drinks during the meal times from the hotel stuff. At evenings a bar will be open, providing additional refreshments paid by cash.

o Papers, Preprints, Reprints, Books

Paperboxes in the conference place It is more or less a tradition to organize an "Exhibition of articles of participants" during the school. For that reason please do not forget to bring along preprints/reprints of your work or even the books (all of them not necessarily recent) to Paseky. Everybody will get a "mailbox" (see picture) in the conference place, where he/she can exhibit his/her papers/books to make them accessible for other participants during the conference time. Also, there will be a small library consisting of approximately 100 books on the topics of PDEs and Fluid Mechanics, brought to you by the organizers (part of them is also visible at the background of the picture).

o Short communications

The participants of the conference can present their results in a form of a (very) short communication. We expect that the length of these communications will be (according to their number) set to 15 minutes including discussion. The participants can use overhead projector or data projector (beamer), which will be available at the place. There will be a laptop connected to the beamer, running on Win XP, with Power Point, ps (Ghostscript) and pdf (Adobe Acrobat) browsers, CD reader, and USB.

o Confirmation letters

Each participant will be given the official confirmation of participation (and the letter confirming that he/she had a short communication lecture) at the conference place. Also, any kind of receipt or confirmation can be prepared to your request at the conference place.

We are looking forward to seeing you in Prague and at Paseky.
