Using the Prague public transport

The fare of a public transport from Prague to Roztoky is 40 CZK. The fare for a piece of luggage is 16 CZK. Free transport applies to luggage up to and including 25x45x70 cm, flat luggage up to and including 100x100x5 cm, tube-shaped luggage up to and including 150 cm in length and 20 cm in diameter, or a shopping bag on wheels. The ticket could be bought before entering the bus (tram, metro) at the newspaper places, automats, etc. or eventually you can buy it from the driver at a higher price. The ticket must be validated upon the entrance to the bus/tram/metro. Then it is valid for 120 minutes, independently of the number of transfers.

When travelling with subway, you should get out at the subway station Dejvicka (line "A") and use the exit towards the bus terminal, direction Suchdol. The buses 340 and 350 that have a stop on the street Jugoslavských partyzánů will take you within 15 minutes to the stop "Roztoky, Tyršovo náměstí" that is right in front of the Academy hotel. The town Roztoky is in Zone 1 (corresponding to the fare 40 CZK) of the Prague Integrated Transport region (PID). Buses run approximately every 20 minutes.

Individual arrival by car

From Vítězné náměstí in Prague 6: in Dejvice turn into Jugoslávských partyzánů street, in the direction of Podbaba and then continue along the River Vltava along route II/242 towards Roztoky u Prahy. Once you are there, continue up the hill. Just beyond that, after the bends in the road, you will reach the central square, where the hotel is located. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes.

From Prague Airport: follow the signs to Horoměřice, and then from Únětice to Roztoky u Prahy. Once you are there, continue along the main road until you reach the central square, where the hotel is located. The journey takes approximately 15 minutes.

By train

From Masarykovo nádraží station (Náměstí republiky metro station, on Line "B"), take the Kralupy nad Vltavou/Ústí nad Labem train (line S4) and alight at Roztoky u Prahy station. The journey takes 15 minutes. From the station, it is an approximately 5-minute walk uphill to the central square, where the hotel is located. Roztoky u Prahy station is in Zone 1 of the Prague Integrated Transport region, and trains run approximately every 30 minutes at peak hours.

From Praha-Hostivař station (line S41, via Praha Libeň), and Prague-Holešovice station (Nádraží Holešovice metro station, on Line "C") alight at Roztoky u Prahy station. Trains run approximately every 30 minutes.
