Prof. Ales Drapal, a specialist in groups, self-distributive systems, loops, quasigroups, universal algebra and coding theory. Presently, his main interests are distances of groups, left-distributive systems, multiplication groups of loops and trilinear alternating forms. In the past he was also active in the area of artificial intelligence (production systems) and applied computer science (operating systems, compilers, databases).
