About the place of the conference

In the Czech Republic there is no place of pilgrimage situated in as beautiful and natural a setting as Hejnice. The ridges of the Jizera Mountains surround the baroque cathedral of the Visitation of our Lady. In the ancient Franciscan cloister, the Litomerice diocese has created an International Centre for Spiritual Rehabilitation where members of the public may come to stay for a while. The place is conveniently located, not far from Germany and Poland. Programs are also offered to visitors from other countries, so that people can meet, understand and renew local traditions and cultures, and so contribute to personal, social and international harmony.

The location offers comfortable accommodation in the form of cloister rooms in 16 single and 19 double rooms. Several clubrooms, refectories and a small gymnasium are available for relaxation and rest. A vast cloister garden, internal square, and a southern garden may be used for open-air relaxation and meditation.

Recommended additional activities include visits to famous landmarks such as Frýdlant's castle, the Spa of Libverda, and hiking trips in Jizera Mountains.

A special conference program will be prepared in accordance with the traditions of potential theory meetings in the past. The location offers excellent opportunities for discussions, informal meetings and other activities such as short trips to historic sites nearby.
